Launching: The Indian Youth Climate Network
We are the youth of India. Climate change is going to affect OUR future. The decision makers of today, won’t be around in 50 years time to see the effects of their inaction. Hence we need to take the action required to ensure that our future will be bright, clean and green.
With this as the mindset and with the energy, enthusiasm and a vision for a better and more secure future, the Indian Youth Climate Network (IYCN) has been launched by a group of active, concerned and enlightened individuals, and is majorly supported by Delhi Greens. IYCN is now the first major program of Delhi Greens.
Mission:
To unite the youth of India to ensure a clean, bright future. We aim to generate awareness and to empower a generation of young people to take effective action against climate change, at a local, state, national and international level.

The IYCN aims to be a broad and diverse coalition of youth organizations operating in India; to take action and demand stronger and more effective government policy on climate change. With a country as large and diverse as India, establishing the necessary linkages is important to the formation of a holistic “Indian youth perspective” on climate change and that is what we have set out to do first.
Please do get in touch if you or your organization is committed to work on the issue of global warming and in mitigating the adverse impacts of climate change.
For further information, to partner and/or to volunteer with the IYCN, send an email to info@whatswiththeclimate.org, contact@delhigreens.org
