Parents Workshop at Teen Murti Bhawan: At Home With Peace

Notificaion for the beginning of a series of workshops/ trainings on related themes by Jaya Iyer.

The first of the series, we hope to build a community parents who  would like engage on issues of fear, pressure, violence, trust,  tensions, breaches within and with our children.  The beginning is from self and with sharing our own concerns.

This would be followed by monthly workshops that use art, meditation, studies in history, conflict transformation techniques, theatre, field visits , media to engage deeply with these issues with support from Nehru Memorial Museum & Library (NMML) and their partners and experts in the field.

Most of all a – build a community that listens, shares and empathises with each other, thus this first workshop aims to provide a platform for sharing concerns and getting in touch with our own selves.

We also hope that the leadership within this team would help provide the necessary impetus and direction to this team.
