After the successful completion of the Online Summer Internship Programme (SOIP) in 2010, Delhi Greens now invites applications for the SOIP 2011. The objective of the internship programme remains the same as last year, of engaging the youth from Delhi and across India, in helping green India and in creating more responsible, aware and smart citizens!

Internships

The internship will be for a period of six weeks starting from May 31st 2011. More than 80% of the work will be online and we will begin with an orientation programme for the selected candidates. The interns will be trained in understanding the various environmental issues and challenges during the period of the internship. They would be involved in research and campaigning work for the ongoing projects of Delhi Greens, which are:

  • Green Media Network (Delhi Greens Blog and NE Greens Blog) – Three positions
  • Green Citizens Awareness Programme (Green CAP) –  One
  • World Youth Assembly – One

Eligibility: Students and young professionals between the age 18 and 24 years (as on 15th June 2011) are eligible to apply.

Intake: The maximum intake for the SOIP 2011 is five.
