Invite to Flower Show and Antardhvani 2014 at University of Delhi

The University of Delhi invites the citizens of Delhi and around to the Flower Show and Antardhvani Cultural Festival. The University of Delhi is the most popular university in all of India, attracting students from across the country and world.  It is that time of the year again in the university! Antardhvani 2014 is a three days Cultural Fest and Flower show will begin from 14 February 2014 and will continue till 16 February 2014. Promoting clean energy in the university through shift to cycles needs to be encouraged: bicycle ads in India.

The DU Antardhvani Cultural Festival was conceptualized and started in 2011 and has become the showpiece event of India’s highest rated university. In just two years, it has emerged as the medium for profiling the university’s cultural, sports, and academic achievements. The 56th Annual University of Delhi Flower Show is now integrated with the Antardhvani Cultural Program.  The Flower Show is held every year by the university in order to promote interest in nature among the students, staff, and teachers of the University, colleges, schools as well as among the residents of the area.

The special attraction of the Flower Show will be beautiful and eye catching species of cacti, orchids, succulents, herbal plants, as well as on-the-spot painting competition.  Special attractions for Antardhvani this year will be:

  • Exclusive Sound and Light Show, University of Delhi: A Legend
  • Friendly Cricket Match: Vice Chancellor’s XI vs. Principals’ XI
  • Antardhvani Food Courts
  • DU Souvenir Stall: Haathi Mera Saathi
  • Adventure Sports: An Introduction to Mountaineering
  • Reel World Movie Theatre

Date: 14th – 16th February 2014
Time: 10.00 PM to 5.00 PM
Venue: Sports Complex, North Campus, University of Delhi

Sound & Light Show: Venue for Sound and Light Show will be opposite the Viceregal Lodge in the Nehru Rose Vatika. Entry for Sound and Light show is from the Mughal Garden and the main gate of the University of Delhi Gate No -1 and Gate No – 3. Duration of show will be 35 minutes and the show timings will be as follows: 6.30 pm, 7.30 pm, 8.30 pm, and 9.30 pm/
