The Maurice Nagar Police Station in Delhi became the first police station in the country to have environmental friendly bio-toilets, a pioneering green initiative taken on this World Environment Day. The Bio-Toilets have been installed by Wockhardt Foundation, a not-for-profit organization engaged in social service and human welfare activities. Bio-Toilet is an innovative and complete waste management initiative which decomposes waste to water and biogas.

The bio-toilet was inaugurated by Mr. Bhim Sain Bassi, Commissioner of Police, New Delhi in the presence of Dr. Huz, CEO of Wockhardt Foundation and senior police officials.  Speaking about the installation in Delhi, Dr. Huz noted, “We are happy to partner the Delhi Police’s initiative to go green. The initiative will also play a critical role in Preventable Healthcare as the Bio Toilet eliminates disease-causing pathogens completely.”

Bio-Toilet is a waste management solution which alleviates the need for expensive sewage treatment and waste management. It is 100% eco-friendly and cost effective and requires one-time installation. Bio-Toilets are Invented & Certified by DRDO and endorsed by the Government of India as 100% Hazard free and Eco Friendly with zero maintenance.
