Plantation Drive at Garhi Mandu by DoE on Environment Day


The Department of Environment and Forests, Government of NCT of Delhi will be organising a plantation drive at Garhi Mandu City Forest on the occasion of World Environment Day 2016.

The Department has invited school students through its Eco Club programme to join the tree plantation campaign in large number. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi Shri Arvind Kejriwal will be the Chief Guest for the occasion.

Date: 5 June 2016 (World Environment Day)
Time: 7.30 am onwards
Venue: Garhi Mandu City Forest

The Department has continuously carried out tree plantations at Garhi Mandu and the plan is to convert this area into an ecotourism spot.
