Emaar India Celebrates Environment Day at its Various Project Sites

Emaar India, the leading global property developer, commemorated the 45th World Environment Day on 5 June, 2017 at its various project sites in Gurgaon and Mohali. The Company organised a multitude of activities including plantation drives by planting 300 saplings, poster and banner making competitions, awareness programmes and flag marches.

The various activities were organised to highlight the importance of adopting eco-friendly attitude and practices among the project residents, company employees, contractors’ staff and 10,000-strong labour workforce. The children of construction labourers, for whom Emaar India runs crèches at its project sites, also actively participated in the Environment Day activities.

The celebrations were held at Emaar India’s project sites including The Palm Drive, Marbella, Imperial Gardens, Gurgaon Greens, Palm Hills, Palm Gardens, Colonnade, and Emerald Estates in Gurgaon, and Mohali Hills in Mohali, Chandigarh. The event concluded with sweet distribution and prize distribution ceremony for the health, safety and environmentally conscious site workers.
