The National Museum of Natural History of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India invites applications for Summer Vacation Programme 2019. The Summer Vacation Programme (SVP) 2019 is open for children between the age of 8 to 13 years. The SVP 2019 is titled Know About Nature and Environment Through Fun activities.
Eligibility: Who Can Apply
The Summer Vacation Programme by the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) is being organised in the following two categories:
The Green Clubs SVP is open for children between the age group of 8 to 12 years. The total duration of the Green Clubs SVP is from 20 May 2019 to 7 June 2019 (10.00 am to 1.30 pm). A total of 50 children will be selected for Green Clubs SVP on a first come first serve basis. The Venue of the Green Clubs SVP will be National Zoological Park (Delhi Zoo), Delhi – 110003.
The Green Teens SVP is open for children between the age group of 13 to 15 years. The total duration of the Green Teens SVP is from 20 May 2019 to 7 June 2019 (10.00 am to 3.00 pm). A total of 50 children will be selected for Green Teens SVP on a first come first serve basis. The Venue of the Green Teens SVP will be Indira Paryavaran Bhawan (MoEFCC Headquarter), Jor Bagh, Delhi – 110003.
The Special Attractions during the SVP 2019 for Green Clubs category will include origami, T-shirt painting, collage making, animal-mask making, animal clay modeling, art & craft, nature tours inside Delhi Zoo, prizes and gift certificates.
The Special Attractions for the Green Teens category include exposure to green initiatives, environmental workshops, creative writing and skill building, preparing herbarium, interactive session with environmental experts, visit to environment friendly organisations, prizes, gifts and certificates.
The Registration Fee for each category (Green Clubs and Green Teens) is Rs. 300/-. Preference will be given to those children who have not participated earlier.

Completed registration form with a copy of document for age of proof such as Birth Certificate/ School ID card/ Aadhar Card (with D.O.B.) with two passport-size photos can be submitted along with Registration Fee at the following address by 17 May 2019 (4.30 pm).

Registration will be done on week days, except holidays. Registration will be closed as soon as seats are filled. Students need to bring home-made lunch and drinking water with them. Refreshments will be provided. Only five students from one school are admissible.
