Aastha KukretiAastha Kukreti graduated in Botany from the University of Delhi and has a Masters in Environment Management from GGS IP University, Delhi.

Aastha has a wide range of interests and expertise in the field of Environment ranging from waste management, water analysis, green event management and carrying out green audits, etc. She blogs about green events, opportunities, competitions and on environmental news and views.

Govind Singh

Govind Singh graduated in Plant Sciences from the University of Delhi and has a Masters in Environmental Studies from the School of Environmental Studies, University of Delhi. He is now pursuing his Ph.D. on urban ecology and sustainable development from the University of Delhi.

Govind is a Climate Project presenter and co-founder of the Center for Climate Justice & Equity. He has considerable experience in organising local as well as global action on climate change and his areas of interest and expertise range from Urban Ecology, Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Biodiversity Conservation, Gender Studies and Disaster Management. He blogs on urban planning, urban biodiversity, green solutions,  society, equity and the development paradigm.

A.P. Jayanthi

Jayanthi A. Pushkaran has been a part of Delhi Greens since 2007 and is actively involved in the various activities of the organisation. With a Masters in Environmental Studies from the School of Environmental Studies, University of Delhi and a M.Phil from CSSP, JNU she is now a Ph.D. Scholar at JNU.

Presently she is studying the debate over the methods used in monitoring tiger populations in India from sociology of science perspective. Her study seeks to identify the processes, individuals and agencies involved in the generation, diffusion and reception of science in the field of wildlife conservation.

Vidya Subramanian

Vidya Subramanian has been involved with Delhi Greens since 2008 and has been working in environment related fields since 2007. She is a post graduate in Chemistry from Gargi College, University of Delhi; and is currently an M.Phil Scholar at the Center for Studies in Science Policy at JNU. She has previously worked as Editor of the TerraGreen magazine at The Energy and Resources Institute.

Vidya believes that the environment cannot be a separate field like ‘architecture’ or ‘medicine’ or ‘journalism’ because it is all pervasive and ubiquitous, and it will be at our own peril that we choose to classify it as something separate from each us.

Ngawayon Impuri Shimray

N. Impuri Shimray is a graduate from Miranda House, University of Delhi and is an advertising and public relations professional from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi.

Hailing from the diversity rich northeastern state of Manipur, Impuri is an ardent believer of Mother Nature as a supreme force which governs and guides wo/mankind ceaselessly. She is an impressive propagator of eco-spirituality and believes that only when we would have realized the oneness of nature can we claim to have matured as a civilization. She blogs on the progressing green movement.
