The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) of the Government of India, under its National Museum of Natural History invites entries for Painting Competition, Slogan Writing Competition and Poster Making. The Painting Competition and Slogan Writing Competitions are meant for School students while the Poster Making Competition is for College Students. Greenlco Eco Foundation Hosted Series of Events to Mark Environment Day

The Greenlco Eco Foundation NGO celebrated an entire week of the World Environment Day, between 29 May and 5 June 2017. A Mind Your Bin campaign also launched as part of the week long celebrations. The week long campaign was unveiled by the Mayor of SDMC and a GREENOTHON cycling rally was also organised. A Greenlco Eco MUN (Model United Nation) was also organised, where 100 students participated as delegates to discuss 'Chemical waste disposal in high seas' and 'Convention on Climate Change'. The week long celebrations also included a Painting activity on Environment for children of all ages, which was conducted on 5 June, 2017.

Responsible Citizen Initiative Launched by ATDC, NOIDA

Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC), Noida and Noida Apparel Export Cluster recently organised a March for Responsible Citizen Initiative on awareness of Skill Development, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan and Road Safety. The march began from ATDC Noida and the campaign was launched by Chief Guest Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon'ble Minister of State (I/c) of Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Govt. of India. Sh. Anil Kumar Jha (PPS), SP-Traffic, Gautam Budh Nagar, UP; Mr. Lalit Thukral, Chairman NAEC & ATDC Convener, UP State and Dr. Darlie Koshy,  Director General & CEO, ATDC were also present during the launch ceremony. The aim of the campaign was to educate people about cleanliness and sanitation under the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, organise Road Safety Programmes through road safety march

Recently the Tughlaqabad District Park has been notified as Tughlaqabad Biodiversity Park by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on the direction of Hon'ble High Court of Delhi.
