MoEFCC Medini Award Scheme for Environmental Books in Hindi

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has initiated a Medini Puraskar Yojana starting from 1 April 2018. Under this Scheme, original books written in Hindi, published after April, 2015 and having at least 100 printed pages would be accepted for consideration for the Award. The First prize is Rupees One Lakh, the Second prize is Rs. 75,000/-, the third prize is Rs. 50,000/- and one Consolation Prize of Rs. 25,000/- will also be given. Aastha Kukreti Wins ‘Green Warrior’ Media & Environment Award for the Delhi Greens Blog!

The Delhi Greens Blog was recently awarded for its good work in putting New & Social Media behind the green cause and using it to disseminate information and generate environmental awareness. Aastha Kukreti, one of our lead writers was conferred the 'Green Warrior' Award by the ISB&M School of Communication in their Media Mind Prints 2010 initiative. The initiative had an underlying objective of creating awareness amongst the youth of today and tomorrow regarding 'Media and Environment'. Two other young green activists were given the 'Young Communicator Award' in the same function.
