Dhriiti Invites Applications for Training Program from Women Entrepreneurs

Dhriiti, in partnership with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and funded by U.S. Embassy India invites applications for its We Can program, which includes Workshops and Business Plan Competition for Women Entrepreneurs. As part of this program, Dhriiti will support 150 aspirational young women entrepreneurs to build successful enterprises. The project will support aspirational young women entrepreneurs through an intensive five-day business training course which will be followed by six weeks of mentoring. The women entrepreneurs will be supported to develop a business plan, providing them with a solid foundation to sustain and grow their enterprises. PM Rides eRickshaw to Promote Stand Up India in Letter and Spirit

The Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi rides an e-Rickshaw to promote Stand up India programme, in NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh on April 05, 2016. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today launched the Stand Up India initiative, which aims to boost entrepreneurship among the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Women. The initiative envisages loans to at least two aspiring entrepreneurs from these categories. The loan shall be in the ten lakh to one crore rupee range. 5100 e-rickshaws were also distributed on the occasion and the PM himself did not hesitate to take an e-Rickshaw ride!

Tata Jagriti Yatra is an annual train journey that will take 350 of India's highly motivated youth (with some participation of international students) between the ages of 18-25 on a eighteen day national odyssey, introducing them to unsung heroes of India. The aim is to awaken the spirit of entrepreneurship - both social and economic - within India's youth by exposing them to individuals and institutions that are developing unique solutions to India's challenges. Dates for the Journey: 24th December, 2008 to 11th January, 2009. The journey has a fees, though sponsorship can be arranged for deserving candidates.
