Avashya Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Allcargo Logistics (a Mumbai-based leading integrated logistics solutions provider in India), flagged off a tree plantation drive under the foundation's Maitree initiative. The initiative took place in association with NGOs like Light of life trust (LOLT), Nirmala Niket College of Social Work and Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM). Objectives Maitree aims to plant 1.41 lakh fruit bearing trees in the span of 20 days In the years 2015 and 2016, Maitree has reached out to a large number of families from tribal and underdeveloped regions. Cairn India Reaffirms its Commitment Towards Health Sector on Mothers Day

In honor of Mother's Day 2016, Cairn India reaffirms its commitment to promote women’s right to quality and respectful maternal health services. In a move to enable better access to health and nutrition services to women, children and adolescents, Cairn India in collaboration with CHETNA (Centre for Health Education Training and Nutrition Awareness) has undertaken a PAHONCH project. The PAHONCH campaign reaches out to women in 73 villages across three districts (Rajkot, Morbi and Jamnagar) of Gujarat and touches a population of more than 1.2 lakh in the state.
