The main objective of the conference is to take stock of the current & future threats to Himalayan Rivers & the lives of billion people dependent on them. The conference will also develop partnership of civil society at Asian level for the conservation & protection of Himalayan Rivers & defense of people’s water rights through peace, equity & sustainability.
