Gene Campaign and Action Aid invite all concerned citizens to a national conference on “Ensuring Food Security in a Changing Climate”, to start  the process of forging a national agenda to ensure food security and rural livelihoods, as the climate changes.

Date: 23 and 24th April, 2010

Venue: Speaker’s Hall, Constitution Club, Rafi Marg, New Delhi

The meeting will be held in Delhi on 23 and 24 April, 2010 , at the Constitution Club ( Speakers Hall). Expert speakers will address various aspects of coping with both mitigation and adaptation  so as to support food security. After the discussions,  a set of recommendations for action will be framed to be proposed to the government. This will be followed by a collective and sustained advocacy campaign for policy changes in this area.
