Quotes from the Earth: The Environment Film Festival 2010
Started in 2007, the Environment film festival “Quotes from the Earth” is a platform to highlight the environmental challenges at the national and international level through films. Conducted over a period of two days, the film festival goes beyond just viewing films as it is aimed to bring under one umbrella the persistent and the persuasive, with each day culminating into a panel discussion on the day’s theme.
The festival will be organised on the 4th and 5th of December this year. The first day will be marked with discussions on the relevance of environment education while the Politics of Environment will be dealt with on the second with panelists from education, media, film-making and policy field. The festival will focus on different issues, regions and struggles to give the audience a better chance to understand and engage with a broader perspective of the current status of our environment.
