Its leadership, within the region and globally will be essential to tackle these challenges.”, Mr. Annan emphasized.
The Kofi Annan Foundation works to promote better global governance and catalyse action towards a fairer, more secure world by promoting sustainable development, peace and security and human rights. As its Founding Chair, Mr. Annan is working tirelessly to achieve the objectives laid down by the Foundation. After his stay in Delhi, Mr. Annan will travel to Bangalore and as the Chief Guest at the Infosys Prize Ceremony. Here, he will emphasize the importance of scientific research and innovation to finding solutions to some of India’s and the world’s greatest challenges.
