The 24th Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change took place between 2 and 14 December 2018. COP 24 recently concluded in Katowice, Poland. Leaders from member nations continue to discuss and are yet to come to an agreement. The proposal to strengthen the previous Paris Climate Agreement has been proposed by the Conference President. Only time will tell if the leaders of the member nations can come to an agreement and if COP 24 can actually help prevent the imminent global meltdown, already taking place. Image © cop24.gov.pl
