MoEFCC Invites Applications for Environmental Consultants
The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC) invites applications from interested persons for the following positions.
- Consultant (Environmental Accounts and Economics): @ Rs. 80, 000/- per month
- Consultant (Sustainable Development) @ Rs. 1,00,000/- per month
The positions invited are on contract basis, initially for a period of 12 months.
Eligibility:
Consultant (Environmental Accounts and Economics): Applicant should be an Indian citizen with master’s degree in Environmental Science or Wildilfe or Biostatistics or Geography or Geostatistics or Geoinformatics or Environmental engineering or Mathematics or Statistics or Botany or Zoology with specialization in data processing in geospatial datasets or have bachelor’s degree in Environment/ Geography or equivalent with a focus on geospatial data processing, environmental accounts, statistics and economics with at least 5 years experience in environmental data processing and research including environmental accounts and economics and of working with government, academic and non-governmental organizations in India in the field of environment, sustainable development, natural resources management.
PhD holders in the relevant field will be given preference. Maximum age limit is 40 years as on 01.01.2023.
Consultant (Sustainable Development): Applicant should be an Indian citizen with master’s degree in Climate Science or Statistics or Econometrics or Economics or Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics with data modelling for providing inputs for climate policy and sustainable development. B Tech in Environmental Engineering or Climate Science or Technology/ Master’s in Geostatistics with papers/ internship in applying models for policy analysis in climate change and sustainability/ Master’s in data science with papers/ internship in applying models for policy analysis in climate change and sustainability with minimum 10 years experience in research including climate models/ econometrics/ climate or SDG finance and economics and of working with government, academic and non-governmental organizations in India in the field of environment, sustainable development, natural resources management.
PhD holders in the relevant field will get preference. Maximum age limit is 45 years as on 01.01.2023.
