From the 5th Annual Carnival of e-Creativity in Sattal

At the Carnival of e-Creativity

Wikipedia describes Electronic art as a form of art that makes use of electronic media or, more broadly, refers to technology  and/or electronic media. It is related to information art, new media art, video art, digital art, interactive art, internet art, and electronic music. It is considered an outgrowth of conceptual art and systems art.

The Academy of Electronic Arts has been defining it much more beautifully by hosting the Carnival of e-Creativity annually, bringing together its practitioners from various fields! The 5th annual Carnival of e-Creativity (CeC 2010) was played out through February 19-20-21, 2010 , in the sylvan spaces of Sattal Estate, near Bhimtal, in the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand.

The Carnival brought together e-creators from across the planet to present, share and exchange their work! It also marked 10 years of networking and connecting e-Creative practitioners across the globe, by the founder, Mr. Shankar Barua, with the publication of the first CD-gazette of The IDEA (The Indian Documentary of Electronic Arts.
