12 August is World Elephant Day, Greetings to All

12 August is now being celebrated as the World Elephant Day since 2012 to raise awareness about the plight of Asian and African elephants. Let us use this day to remind ourselves of our responsibility towards a species which represents only a fraction of nature’s might. Visit elephant habitats around your city and ensure that the mighty elephant is given the respect and space it deserves. Visit elephants in zoos around you, and ensure they are being taken care of well.
