Click A WEDSelfie and Share it With the Environment Minister

5th june

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has initiated a novel concept to promote tree plantation in the general public. Starting this World Environment Day, the Environment Minister of India is asking all citizens to plant a sapling and take a selfie with it and share it on a Governmental portal created especially for this campaign.

The campaign is called WEDSelfie and the MoEFCC invites a selfie from all citizens on the theme Plant a tree and create your own Oxygen Bank. Hundreds of citizens have posted and share their WEDSelfies with the Ministry through this portal already

Stressing that the green mission can succeed only through active people’s participation, the Environment Minister has come up with this idea and has urged the citizens to plant trees, take a selfie and share photographs on wedselfie.nic.in.

The method of uploading Selfie is fairly simple:

    1. Go to website www.wedselfie.nic.in
    2. If you are uploading image it should not be more than 5 MB
    3. Only one selfie per entry is allowed

So what are you waiting for. Go plant trees and get clicking!
