Kumbha Mela is ongoing and the entire environment of the country is holy and pious. Even Google Search is celebrating this with rose petal showered on the search screen while searching for Kumbha Mela! Taking place on the bank of rivers, the Government has not forgotten to use this opportunity to raise awareness about its initiative to clearn River Ganga and spread the vision of Namani Gange.

Namami Gange is an integrated conservation mission launched by the Government of India in 2014, aimed at rejuvenating River Ganga and restoring its water quality and biodiversity. The initiative focuses on sustainable management of the river, with efforts directed towards pollution abatement, riverfront development, and promoting public awareness about the significance of River Ganga.
