The DPCC, functioning under the Department of Environment, Government of NCT of Delhi, is inviting applications for the post of Consultant (Innovation) on a contractual basis. This role is at the heart of driving the Government’s Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) programme forward — with a special focus on encouraging green innovation and sustainable development.
Who Can Apply?
DPCC is looking for a motivated and experienced professional with:
- A graduate degree in science, economics, management, or engineering (preferably an MBA from a reputed institution).
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in managing innovation programs, incubation cohorts, or business competitions.
- A deep understanding of India’s start-up and incubation ecosystem, along with connections to accelerators, investors, and universities.
- Strong communication, leadership and programme management skills.
The position offers a monthly remuneration of ₹1,45,000 and applicants must be below 60 years of age.
What Will You Do?
The selected candidate will work directly with the Member Secretary of DPCC and lead the Innovation Challenge initiative.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing challenge guidelines.
Creating content and evaluation processes for a digital platform.
- Coordinating with stakeholders and preparing comprehensive reports.
- Recommending innovative solutions to address Delhi’s environmental challenges.
Key Terms
- This will be a full-time contract for 6 months, extendable based on performance.
- The role does not include perks like transport allowance or accommodation.
- Consultants are allowed 8 days of leave annually, and standard deductions like TDS will apply.
