NIDM Announces Online Training on Disaster Management

The National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), a premier national organization working for human resource development at the national level in the area of disaster mitigation and management, invites application from working professional for online training on various courses related to disaster management.

Disaster Risk Reduction

The courses are available at two levels: basic and advanced and are particularly targeted at developmental practitioners, central, state and local government officials, NGO representatives, community leaders and others interested in the challenges and issues related to disaster risk reduction and management. Courses include National Disaster Risk Management Framework, Community based disaster Risk Management, Safe Cities, Climate change and disaster management, etc.  The entire course calendar and details can be downloaded by clicking here.

Interested candidates must apply on a plain paper stating following details – name of the course, name of applicant, age, qualifications, experience, occupation, email id, telephone and postal address along with course fees in bank draft. The application must reach at least 15 days in advance from the date of commencing of the course.

  1. Thanks for sharing this. I completed the NIDM course on risk management recently and it was an interesting experience because you get to share your ideas with people from various fields. The course material was quite intensive and at the end of it you have to submit a comprehensive project end report.
