Echoing Green Fellowship: Last Three Days Left to Apply
Since 1987, the United States based Echoing Green has been providing seed funding and support to nearly 500 social entrepreneurs with bold ideas for social change in order to launch groundbreaking organizations around the world. Through a two-year fellowship program, Echoing Green helps individuals with a vision to develop new solutions to society’s most difficult problems. These social entrepreneurs and their organizations work to solve deeply-rooted social, environmental, economic, and political inequities to ensure equal access and to help all individuals reach their potential.
The 2011 Echoing Green Fellowship application has now been open, as circulated to our group subscribers, and will remain available through November 12, 2010 at 11:59pm EST. Echoing Green has helped launch Teach For America, City Year, Genocide Intervention Network, The SEED School, Global Fund for Children and hundreds of others. Now it is looking for the next generation of talent to deliver bold solutions and social change. Selected Fellows can receive up to $90,000 over a two-year fellowship period. Echoing Greens has previously invested close to $30 million in seed funding to nearly 500 social entrepreneurs who work to solve deep-rooted problems in the world through their innovative ideas.

Echoing Greens believes that social entrepreneurs are those exceptional individuals who dream up and take responsibility for an innovative and untested idea for positive social change, and usher that idea from dream to reality.
