Fellowships Worth 1 Lakh pm at Delhi Assembly Research Centre

The Government of NCT of Delhi is inviting applications to appoint Delhi Assembly Research Centre Fellows for a period of one year, extendable by another year. This is as part of the Legislative Assembly of National Capital Territory of Delhi initiative to setup the Delhi Assembly Research Centre (DARC).

The objective of the DARC is to create a repository of valuable research and reference material for use of the lawmakers and other stakeholders by involving the young and talented youth of Delhi. A total of 50 Fellows and 90 Associate Fellows are being recruited at the moment. The Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 1 Lakh while the Associate Fellows will be given a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000/-.

The Fellows and Associate Fellows shall be responsible for conducting research, and providing accurate and relevant information/ data to the Hon’ble Members and Officers of the Assembly. The Fellows and Associate Fellows will also assist the Hon’ble Members and Officers of the Assembly with research material and preparation of reports. One Fellow position has been assigned for Environment, while others also focus on the broad and interdisciplinary field of Environment.

Eligibility Criteria for Fellows

Individuals who are less than 35 years of age (i.e should be born on or after 01.04.1984 and on or before 31.03.1998) and have a Ph.D. with one full year work experience or post graduates with minimum two year work experience or graduates with minimum four years work experience are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Associate Fellows

Individuals who are less than 35 years of age (i.e should be born on or after 01.04.1984 and on or before 31.03.1998) and have a post graduate degree or graduates with minimum one year of work experience are eligible to apply.

All selected Fellows and Associate Fellows will work directly under the supervision of the Advisor to the Hon’ble Speaker / Hon’ble Members/ Chairpersons of House Committees/ Officers of Delhi Assembly, depending on the tasks entrusted to them.
