Climate Change Hits Texas, 14 Million Without Clean Water

Texas in the United States has been severely hit by a freak weather event, which is one of the known impacts of climate change. The situation became so intense that it even led to the failure of the Texas power grid leaving the state in an apocalyptic darkness.

This further led to exposing residents to freezing cold conditions, dwindling food materials, bursting of water pipes after some parts of it froze and has left at least 14 million people without clean water. What has happened in Texas is exactly as predicted would happen if runaway climate change is not stopped immediately.

The White House has also clarified that the severe winter storm engulfing Texas and nearby states was the type of extreme weather event that climate change is triggering.
