MNRE to Host National Conference on Green Design: Buildings & Habitats
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in association with the Association for Development and Research on Sustainable Habitats (ADaRSH) and The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI) invites participants and exhibitors for a National Conference on Green Design: Buildings and Habitats during January 7-8, 2011 at Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, Lodi Road, New Delhi – 110003. The Conference is expected to attract participation from practioners, academicians, policy-makers, builders and experts from India and abroad from the field of Green Buildings.
The Conference will be inaugurated by Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Minister of New and Renewable Energy. The main objective of the Conference is to bring together experts, practitioners and stakeholders onto one platform, through paper presentations, seminars and exhibitions. It would facilitate multi-stakeholder partnerships and networking among governments, academia, civil society organisations and professionals from different disciplines, like architecture, engineering and construction management. In short, the event would provide an excellent opportunity for participants to interact with a wide and diverse community working on the macro and micro aspects of green development.
